Coaches
Biography:

Graduated from Reedley HS, California in 2001. Played 5 varsity sports in his HS career; football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, track. Still holds his HS shot put record at 63’3”. Went to Reedley College for track and field. 

Graduated from Washington State University in 2006. Was on a track and field scholarship and also played and was the president of the WSU men's club volleyball program. He went into coaching the WSU women's club volleyball program in 2008.

While coaching the WSU women's club volleyball team in 2010, a new Pacific Northwest league was formed called PIVA and had 16 D1 college members. From 2010-2016 their team record was 189-39, they were 4 time league champions with 3-peat from 2013-2015, 4 league MVP's, 18 first team league selections, 7 second team league selections, National Champions in 2012-2013, national MVP selection, 2 first team all nationals selection. 

He also coached Moscow HS from 2013-2015. The team finished 2nd in league the first two years. The last year they ended a 10 year state drought by becoming district champions. He earned coach of the year in 2013 and 2015. He had 9 first team league selections.

In his first 2 years at Capital HS starting in 2016, the team broke 5 school records, 1 second team SIC selection, 3 honorable mention SIC selections. The team GPA finished with a 3.71, and all 4 graduated seniors had above a 4.0 in 2016. In 2017 the team GPA was 3.68 and all 8 seniors had above a 3.3.

Coach Hofmann has also coached club volleyball at Club Moscow 14 national, Club ZZU 18 national and Club Idaho 16 premier and will coach for Club Ignite 15-1 national team this fall. He has also been the throwing coach for track the last two years, and was the head sophomore boys basketball coach this past year.

Assistant Coach

Biography:

Taylor has been playing volleyball since the 4th grade. She graduated from Eagle HS and played varsity volleyball for the Mustangs. During her high school days, she played for club PLV. 

Taylor went on to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Management. She spent her free time playing intramural volleyball, going to the beach and hiking. 

She just finished her first year as a head coach for club PLV at the U14 national level. She is excited to continue her coaching career at Capital. Taylor can't wait to meet all the athletes and parents and is looking forward to this upcoming fall year.

She loves biking, hiking, camping and anything outdoors in her spare time.
