at Mountain View High School  (March 25, 27 – 29)

Game times each day are as follows:  (1) 10:00, (2) 12:30, (3) 3:30, (4) 6:00 

Welcome to the 2015 Spring Break Junior Varsity Invitational at Mountain View High School.  We look forward to hosting and having your team compete at this year’s tournament.   There are 2 pods this year.  The first three days will be pod play.  Each team will play 3 pod games.  On the last day each team will cross over and play against their respective seed.  The 1 seed from each pod will play for the tournament championship Wednesday night!

Where:  Capital High School Hitting Facility

Dates:  November 7, 8, 9 & 14, 15, 16

Time: 6:00-7:30 P.M.

Ages: 8-12

Cost of Attendance:  $90.00 (Registration by mail)

What To Wear:  Shorts or Sweats, T-Shirt, Tennis Shoes (No Spikes), Hat

Hitting Camp Focus

Athletes will have the opportunity to participate in a 6 day hitting camp where they will receive instruction on proper hitting mechanics, fundamentals of hitting, hitting philosophy, approach at the plate and mentality.

Hitting Camp Features

 Athletes will gain knowledge and experience through one on one interaction with Capital coaches and current Capital High School baseball players, video analysis, drill work, and a personal hitting assessment of each athlete’s swing.

2016-2017 Winter Workout Schedules

WORKOUT TIME CHANGES:

With Junior high Boys Basketball starting last week, we have lost a good number of 7th, 8th and 9th graders attending hitting workouts. That being said, It would benefit everyone if we changed the workout schedule to accommodate our lower numbers. So this is what the Monday, Wednesday, Friday Schedule will be starting tomorrow January 27 and continuing until tryouts:

3:20-4:30- Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors

Hitting/Strength and Conditioning Workouts:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Opening Day:  Monday, November 28, 2016

Last Day of Workouts:  Friday, February 17, 2017

*** All athletes are only allowed to attend specific by grade sessions listed below:

Seniors/Sophomores:  3:20-4:20       Juniors/9^th Grade: 4:30-5:30         7^th/8^th Grade 5:30-6:15
